FESPACO has opened a call for the official visual of its 30th edition, scheduled for March 20–27, 2027, in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
FESPACO, the Pan-African Film and Television Festival of Ouagadougou, is organized by Burkina Faso's Agence Burkinabè de la Cinématographie et de l'Audiovisuel (ABCA).
The 2027 edition will be held under the theme: "Cinémas d'Afrique et Développement Endogène."
The call is open to individuals and organizations with proven graphic design skills.
Required submission materials:
- Portfolio
- Explanatory note for the visual
- Digital version of the visual
- Copy of ID card or passport
- Mini graphic charter: colors, typography, and usage rules
Required formats:
- JPEG, 300 dpi, for print
- PNG / GIF, 72 dpi, for web
- Source files: AI, PSD, or EPS
The visual must include the FESPACO logo, dates, edition number, and theme. It must also work across posters, banners, social media, and printed programs.

Submission period: May 22–June 21, 2026.
Prize: 3,000,000 CFA francs, approximately €4,573 / $5,326 as of May 25, 2026.
The selected visual becomes the exclusive property of FESPACO, with transfer of usage rights.
Plagiarized work will be automatically disqualified. FESPACO reserves the right to close the process without selecting a visual.
