Marché du Film and Women in Film Africa announced on Monday, April 6, 2026, that the Producers Network will hold a meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Producers Club in Cannes.
As part of the May 13–18, 2026, Producers Network program, the session lists Women in Film Africa, a pan-African women's screen media organization linked to the non-profit Women in Film Los Angeles, as a presenting partner.
Access is limited to Producers Network badge holders.
Women in Film Africa will present five producers and their latest work: Alexandra Amon of Côte d'Ivoire's Ziv Productions and Story 7 Productions, Shirley Frimpong-Manso of Ghana's Sparrow Studios, Nicolette Ndigwe-Kalu of Nigeria's HB&Q Impressions Studio, Bongiwe Selane of South Africa's Blingola Media, and Beatrice Wangondu of Kenya's The Bea Company.
The Marché du Film runs from May 12 to May 20, 2026, alongside the Cannes Film Festival, which runs from May 12 to May 23, 2026.
